RADISSON GRENADA BEACH RESORT

The Grenada Beach Resort is a modern, stylish resort surrounded by 20 acres of lush tropical gardens, situated on the world famous Grande Anse beach, a few metres from the Caribbean Sea. The resort's extensive grounds extend for over 400 metres along the soft sand beach and the ocean - giving guests wonderful ocean views and spectacular sunsets. This expansive ocean front gives the resort a wonderfully "open" feel. This resort is one of only half a dozen hotels on Grande Anse beach, surprisingly undeveloped for one of the best beaches in the world. The pools, restaurants and accommodation are surrounded by tropical gardens filled with a variety of flowers, shrubs and towering Banana trees. Although the resort has a lot of facilities and activities for guests, being surrounded by such luxuriant flora, gives the resort a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere.

The Grenada Beach Resort is a stylish hotel set in extensive tropical gardens.
This small hotel sits directly on the wonderful Grand Anse Beach
High quality accommodation, amenities and entertainment.
A fantastic location - a great hotel - and very good value for money

We usually offer smaller, independent hotels. Although a group hotel, this is resort has an individual character, with high quality accommodation and range of facilities and activities to offer its guests. It retains a Grenadian "feel", a relaxed atmosphere and very friendly customer service. The accommodation is low rise, most rooms are either ground or first floor.  After an extensive visit we feel happy to recommend the Grenada Beach Resort for those who want a little extra luxury. The resort has deluxe garden rooms, luxurious beach front rooms and suites, with a variety of board options, including all inclusive.
The Grande Anse area is on the south west coast of Grenada, and has some excellent restaurants, clubs, bars, shops and other amenities. There are just 6 hotels and resorts in this area - so it is not a busy, "tourist area" - no crowds - no rush - no fuss.  There are lots of opportunities for you to enjoy the local nightlife. Ten minutes from Grande Anse is True Blue Bay, another focus for nightlife, but again, never frantic, always relaxed and friendly. Grande Anse is 4 miles from the airport - 5 miles from the capital St. George's, 8 miles from the national Park and 15 minutes boat ride from over 30 dives sites.

Diving & Snorkelling

Grenada is famous for its outstanding coral reefs, marine life, 15 shipwrecks and the unique Underwater Sculpture Park. Lots of exciting sites with great variety, for snorkellers, novice divers and experienced divers. There are more than 30 excellent dive sites, 10 to 15 minutes from shore - including Boss Reef, a 5 mile long reef, and the Bianca C the largest shipwreck in the Caribbean. I have made this short, easy trip myself. Dive boats go from the beach, three times a day, for divers and snorkellers to see coral gardens, walls, wrecks, nurse sharks, reef sharks, dolphins, hawksbill turtles, rays and much more. There are several sheltered reef sites - ideal snorkelling for all the family. See the diving and snorkelling pages links on the banner above - for a dive site map and more information on the fantastic underwater world of Grenada. We work closely with a PADI 5-star dive centre, just a few steps away from the resort, on Grand Anse beach. Having dived with this dive crew (and bought the T shirt!)  I can recommend them - professional, knowledgeable and helpful.  Boats take small groups of 6-8 divers and snorkellers and, at most sites, there will be just you and few (new) friends. However, this means boats can get fully booked very easily.
It is important to book any diving you might wish to do before you arrive. We can book all your diving requirements for you.
Booking any service with us like diving - will save you money and be part of an ATOL protected holiday itinerary.
It will ensure that service is available to you when you arrive and avoid disappointment.
